Saturday night Hubby and I are heading to Ponte Vedra to see Sara Watkins. Last time I saw her was with Watkins Family Hour in a SRO late-night club with IOWA at the Americana Music Fest in Nashville. I can’t help but wish Fiona Apple were going to be there too. See song No. 2 in the Tiny Desk Concert below.

Howdy all.
Hmmm. I used to have a rock song I wanted to hear Dwight cover but I can't think of it now.
BLUEGRASS STANDARDS
1. Sunny Side Of The Mountain
2. The Midnight Train
3. Shackles and Chains
4. Dark Hollow
5. Walls of Time
6. Lost (Buzz Busby)
ROCK COVERS
1. Under My Thumb
2. Going to California
3. Dust in the Wind
4. 30 Days in the Hole
5. Ain’t No Sunshine
6. I Think I Love You
Ok, so my rock song isn't rock. But I would like to hear his take! Did I ruin our record? I really like 1,2 and 5 on the rock record and ALL of your choices for the bluegrass.
I have never seen this old Dwight video. Love it!

Miss Florida, how was Sara? Can you believe I skipped a Hayes Carll show. It was Sunday night and the opener didn't start until 9 so I knew he wouldn't start until 10 so I passed. I'm getting o l d.
I like this Ruthie Foster video (and I like tacos too! heehee).

Actually I want to change my pop (rock) song. And I don't really like my bluegrass for Dwight either so I'll keep thinking.

OK, I never check in often, once a month at best...clearly worse than that.
The thought of Dwight doing "Going to California" is worthy of tears. What he would do with that song boggles the mind.
Interestingly enough, I've been listening to a lot of Led Zeppelin lately thanks to the super cheap 2014 Jimmy Page remasters being sold at Walmart for $9.00.
This is my Led Zeppelin III vinyl juxtaposed against the new CD...perfect in every way.

Pretty good list so far.
I would like to hear him do Blue Moon Of Kentucky. |

He's done both of these live before, but I would like to see him put them on a record.
